The richest concentration of perfume — a higher proportion of fragrance oil than an eau de parfum or eau de toilette. It is applied in small, deliberate amounts, sits closer to the skin, and lasts significantly longer. It is the oldest form of the art, and the only one we make. See how the concentrations compare.

Wear varies, and we would rather say so than promise hours. Skin type, climate, how much you apply and what you are wearing all change how long a perfume stays — an extrait applied lightly on a dry, warm day behaves differently from the same touch on damp skin in air conditioning. What is consistent is the order: the cardamom opening goes first, and the base — amber, vetiver, tonka and a soft oud — is what remains longest. On fabric it lingers longer than on skin. The 10 ml discovery size exists so you can find out how it behaves on you.

Yes, by intention. Ember is a warm woody oriental composed for skin, not for a gender aisle.

Only what matters: the house — HMY — the name of the perfume, Ember, and its concentration, extrait de parfum. No barcodes on the front, no slogans, no clutter. Every bottle is poured, sealed and labelled by hand at the atelier in Dubai.

Every HMY fragrance begins at a 10 ml discovery size — enough to live with the perfume for a month before committing. Ember’s discovery size is AED 80, available in the boutique.

For now, within the UAE only — from the atelier in Dubai to all seven emirates. Options, costs and timelines are shown at checkout in the boutique. If you are outside the UAE, write to hmy@hmy.ae — we keep a list, and you will hear from us when that changes.

Cash on delivery, anywhere in the seven emirates — you pay the courier when the bottle reaches your hand, so nothing leaves your account before the perfume arrives. If you would rather ask something before you order, write on WhatsApp.
